Ellen: Sorry Mike, Nita is still bitter. You did leave me...us so suddenly. No note, nothing, even your parents phone was disconnected.
Mike: I have to apologize, both to you and Nita, especially to you. You and I, we had plans, I should have told you why they fell apart.
Ellen: Nita tried to track you down for me, it was as if you fell off the planet. I was a mess for a while.
Mike: I sorry Ellen, I didn't mean to put you though that!
Ellen: No It's OK, 40 years is a long time.
Mike: Come on!
Ellen: Where are we going?
Mike: I'm going to apologize properly and buy you lunch, but first we have to stop in the hotel gift shop, I was in a rush to get here this morning and didn't pack anything.
Ellen: You came with nothing?
Mike: I had a towel, but Nita just stole it.

 Here's a good place to do some math.
We know Ellen has been working in the IH for at least 20 years and the last time she saw Mike
was 40 years ago.
Since they seemed to have met in collage, we can guess they were between 18 and 22 when they met
So Ellen died when she was at most 42 years old and Mike 62.
Though Ellen clearly has come to terms with her own death, she is surprized that Mike died so
'early' at 62.
