Allyson: I.m not talking about the crying. But Ellen its all part of a larger pattern, you rushed that greeting, frankly Ellen I think you are showing signs of burn out. You need a break from greetings.
Ellen: What? I love doing greetings!
Allyson: I.m not going to take you completely off duty, indeed I have some important plans for you, but first you need a vacation.
Ellen: A vacation? I don.t need any time off!
Allyson: I.m saying this as your friend for fifteen years, not just as your boss. You need a break. You.ve been rolling over most of your vacation days the last three years.
Ellen: Where would I go? I don.t have anything planned out.
Allyson: Do you always need to plan out your time off? I think you should take off at least a week.
Ellen: A whole week? I.ll be so far behind!
Allyson: You.re just convincing me that you need this break even more. I don't want to see you back here until a week from Monday.
