The magic of 'swords' is very limited.
The are 'perfectly' hard able to cut anything.
Can summon small objects from a limited menu of 
itmes. (basicly things that bring minor aid and 
comfort)
And can remove other small objects like the 
donuts.
When 'winged out' Erik is not solid but his sword 
is, so he can float though walls but would have to
leave it outside, or use the remove object ability
to make a small hole in wall.

 I've decided to remove the 'not solid' nature of Hosts when winged out.
Its doesn't add anything (though it was a good explanation about why their naked, 
clothing would 'fall though' their bodies) 
So now the rules are when 'winged out' the Hosts get a 'quick load' of fighting skills
(I'll explain 'quick load' latter) a reasonable boost in strength and they can use the
wings to fly short distances. 
The rest of the 'magic' powers the Hosts have are tied to the swords and in addition to
what I listed above, it also the way they open 'gates' in and out of the havens.
