Jessie
Drews is not a host but rather is a citizen who works for the IH under
contract. It is not yet been seen if that means she can or can not
'wing out'
Jessie is training Erik and Ellen to be able to be 'field agents' a lot
of this training is survival skills in primitive areas as most the
Havens are built for pre-industrial peoples who continue to 'live' a
privative lifestyle. She is not easily impressed with the 'magic'
skills hosts get when they are 'winged out' and spend much of her
training teach basic hand to hand combat. During their training Erik
and Jessie trade 'friendly' suggestive banter
and they have traided at least one kiss that may or may not had any
meaning.
When not doing contact work for the IH, Jessie is also a private
detective. Her specialty is to carry messages or conduit penetration
missions into the Havens. This is mostly for historians who wish to ask
questions from famous or less than famous people who have not yet
passed though the citizen process. Many of the people she need to meet
are in fact 'infamous' and therefor unlikely to become citizens anytime
soon.
There is question of the legality of her missions, and Lance does not
like her and only tolerates her association with the rest of the cast.
If he could pin a solid crime against her, he would have her locked
away for a good long time.
